Isadar has been involved with music all of his life, and has been composing and recording for over 35 years. A 'Cajun,' born and raised in south Louisiana, Isadar was classically trained since the age of 5 but was also influenced by the music of the early 1980s ( i.e. Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, Laurie Anderson, Madonna, Depeche Mode, The Eurythmics, Prince, Fleetwood Mac/Lindsey Buckingham, Thomas Dolby, and probably more specifically, electronic music made with the Fairlight CMI).

However, inspired from attending a performance by Windham Hill solo pianist Liz Story, Isadar became interested in composing, recording and performing on and for solo piano, including recordings for playback in Yamaha Disklavier player-pianos. He is also an accomplished Flute and Oboe player, mixing these instruments into some of his projects.

He has performed as a soloist at Carnegie Hall in NYC as well as self-Produced and Directed over 75 "early MTV styled" music videos as companions to his music reaching over 300 million on public access stations in markets all around the US.

Grammy award winning guitarist and founder of Windham Hill Records, William Ackerman produced a solo piano project for Isadar in 2012. The project, titled “Reconstructed,” is a re-working and re-recording of tracks Ackerman felt were the strongest from piano albums Isadar released since 1990. The album peaked at the #2 chart position of the Zone Music Reporter for June of the same year. The album went on to be submitted for consideration into 5 categories for the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.
